Ismail Bakai, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, responded to the words of Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State, on Sunday in publishing a message on X and wrote: "Marco Rubio accused Iran of attacking ships and said that we have not seen anything like the Curry-Baby and the second pirates since World War II." Bakay went on to recall Trump's May 1 statements about seizing commercial ships and confiscating Iranian oil shipments, adding that the American president had previously said: "We are like pirates. We are kind of pirates. "Maybe Trump won't be too pleased to learn that his secretary of state claimed so quickly that he forgot like his pirates." Bakay refers to Marco Rubio's statements on October 20 during his visit to India and an interview with the media; Referring to the tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's attack on commercial ships, Rubio said: "You haven't seen anything like this since World War II; they are applying the boat tactics of Nazi Germany, and the international community must unite against these actions and condemn them."
