The Chairman of the Islamic Council, Muhammad Bakar Kalibaf, on Sunday, October 25, in a speech before the agenda of the public session of the Parliament, said in response to the US military threats: "We are not threatened and we are ready to give an answer beyond their imagination in the face of any insolence of the great territorial Iran." He added that the threat of war or massive terrorism will not cause Iran to withdraw from its rights and interests. The Speaker of the Parliament also emphasized that until America changes its behavior, abandons its "coercive and greedy" policy and compensates for its violated obligations objectively and practically, Washington's claims will not be valid regarding the Islamic Republic. In another part of his speech, referring to the recent war between Iran and the United States, Galivaf said that Washington had entered a "quagmire" because of miscalculations and the start of a war against Iran, and now it must act to get out of this situation.
