Armenia has not started preparations for leaving the EAEU, but it is on the way to membership in the European Union, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan "We have started preparations for formulating an alternative, as we promised the people, so that they would have a choice. We do not intend to leave the EAEU, but colleagues from the Union raise the issue of the definition and holding a referendum. I have already said that in order to comply with it, it is necessary to go through certain procedures, and we are making progress towards its report in Brussels," he said. According to Pashinyan, everything is going towards Armenia applying in 2027-2028 to begin the process of obtaining full membership in the European Union.
