The Iranian Air Force is ready to respond to threats, says Lt. Gen. Alireza Sheikh, the deputy operational commander of the Iranian Army, stated on Tuesday (3) that the Air Force has maintained its operational capability and is ready to respond to new threats. Speaking at an event at the Shahid Satri Aeronautical University, Sheikh said Iranian pilots had adapted their tactics during combat to thwart adversary plans. The statement refutes the version of the President of the United States Donald Trump according to which the Iranian military aircraft was destroyed.
