Internal Security Forces: The General Intelligence Service shot down a squad belonging to the ISIS terrorist organization in Deir ez-Zor, consisting of two people, following strict intelligence surveillance. Investigations revealed the involvement of the detainees in carrying out a series of assassination operations in the Nafe, the latest of which was the shooting of a Defense Ministry official, Ibrahim Al-Jassim, near the Al-Rashid Mosque in the city of Al-Mayadeen. The operation resulted in the confiscation of weapons and ammunition found inside the squad's hideout.
