Civil Defense: Our teams carried out more than 300 field responses in the provinces of Aleppo, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Al-Hasakah, Hama, Homs, and Takia. We recorded the death of 5 civilians, and the teams managed to rescue 50 civilians after floods surrounded their vehicles. Crews intervened to evacuate the people trapped in the water following the collapse of a dirt ferry in the Kasrat Suror area of Raqqa's countryside. The number of affected families is estimated at more than 100 families. About 375 families left the Sakhalt al-Banat, al-Yuniani and al-Makas camps in the rural areas of Raqqa after they were damaged by the rainwater that reached them. The teams performed many works to pump and drain the water that accumulated from streets, residential neighborhoods, houses and public facilities, including about 200 houses and public facilities. Crews responded to reports of towing more than 40 cars stuck in floodwaters to monitor the latest news and developments in Syria.
