The National Food Agency of Georgia signed a memorandum of cooperation with Azerbaijan - the document was signed within the framework of a joint intergovernmental committee for the two countries. As mentioned, the purpose of the agreement is to develop uniform approaches to phytosanitary control and to ensure the uninterrupted export of agricultural products. Working meetings with relevant departments of Armenia, Bulgaria and Russia are planned in the near future.
