The head of the Ministry of Regional Development of Georgia, Ravez Sokhdza, said that the construction of roads in the country will continue on an unprecedented scale. According to him, highways of such volume and at such a pace have never been built in Georgia, and work has never begun simultaneously in so many directions. This, the minister noted, will strengthen the transit function in the country and improve internal mobility, which will directly affect the well-being of the citizens. The main projects in 2027 will be the sections Rostavi-Sadaklo and Rostavi-Tsitli Hidi (Red Bridge). The tenders for them have already been published and the evaluation is underway.
