The construction of the passenger terminal at Talavi Airport will be carried out by the Kings Construction Company. The Association of Airports of Georgia announced a tender for the construction of the terminal on August 27, 2026, and the acceptance of applications ended on September 30. Only one company participated in the tender. Kings Buildings offered to do the work for 11.65 million lari ($4.5 million). According to the tender documents, the construction must be completed no later than 21 months after the signing of the contract.
