The Georgian Parliament responded to the words of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe regarding the possible consideration of the case of banning five opposition parties in the court in Strasbourg. Member of Parliament Rati Yunatmishvili asked: "During the last three years, 22 parties were banned in Ukraine, and 8 in Moldova. As for Europe, 150 parties have been banned in the last ten years. If all this does not lead to the retreat of democracy in Europe, why is it in Georgia? " According to him, Georgia won all the past cases at the ECHR - on Saakashvili, Gavrmia and Rostavi 2, and the result will be the same this time, according to the deputy.
