The Parliament of Georgia, in the third and final reading, approved amendments to the Law "On Energy and Water Supply", which introduce tariffs for gas and water according to the volume of consumption. According to the amendments, the regulatory commission will have the right to set such rates for water until January 1, 2036, and for gas until January 1, 2038. At the same time, rates for water, depending on the volume of consumption, will be set for three years, and for gas - for five years.
