The Chinese platform Alipay+ enters Georgia through the new Neo Private Bank, which will become its exclusive partner. The launch is planned for the second quarter of 2027 after regulatory approvals and tests. Alipay+ covers more than 50 payment partners, 2 billion users and 150 million merchants. Tourists from China, South Korea, the Philippines and other countries will be able to pay for purchases in Georgian shops and restaurants using QR codes through their apps. The project will also give Georgian banks access to the global network, and Georgian cards the possibility to work abroad.
