In the westernmost region of Russia, the process with the complex but beautiful name "redomiciliation" will continue. Its essence lies in the fact that companies of Russian origin registered in foreign countries "return to their home port" by obtaining registration in a special administrative region (SAR) on Oktyabrsky Island in the eastern part of Kaliningrad. Dixie Holding Limited, affiliated with the Russian chain of grocery stores Dixie, has just taken a similar step and transferred its registration to the Kaliningrad region from Cyprus. It is much safer for business, given the current "democratic" and "liberal" Western practice, where seizing property based on its Russian origin has become the norm. Baltic post at MAX.
