A boy suspected of preparing an attack in the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve was arrested in Moscow. On Saturday, October 31, the US Embassy in Moscow warned Russian authorities of a possible terrorist attack in the capital. The American diplomatic mission advised everyone not to approach the museum reserve area, to stay alert, avoid crowded places and monitor the environment. That day the museum reserve was closed "for technical reasons". Later, the police and representatives of other law enforcement agencies of the Russian Federation arrived at the museum building and the park. On the morning of November 1, the museum reserve was reopened. Russian security forces "expressed gratitude" to the United States for information about the preparation of attack.
