A wave of bomb threats that has disrupted dozens of flights across Europe over the past two days, forcing several aircraft to divert and others to be accompanied by combat aircraft. Yesterday, Ir Laingos flight from Dublin to Rome was intercepted by French fighter jets and forced to land at a French military base in Bower. Nearly 30 flights were affected yesterday, with additional threats reported throughout France, Italy, Denmark and Czech Republic. No explosives were found and all planes were landed in peace. European officials suspect the possible hybrid disruption campaign, although those responsible are not identified.
