Civil Defense in Gaza: As of yesterday, we declared a state of extreme emergency to deal with the consequences of the rainy weather and respond to any distress calls we could receive from families affected by the rainy weather. All areas of the Gaza Strip are now facing a new humanitarian disaster, with the first trough of rainy weather entering the Gaza Strip. Dozens of camps, including tents and shelter centers, and even entire residential areas witnessed immersion due to heavy rainwater, as the water level in some areas reached one and a half meters. Since the beginning of the depression, the distress rooms of the Civil Defense have received 2,166 distress calls from citizens and the camp managements.

IDPs, shelter centers and families whose homes were damaged by Israeli bombs. Rescue teams, in cooperation with the municipalities and the authorized authorities in the Gaza governorates, were able to respond to only 218 calls out of the total rescue calls, while the rest relied on giving instructions to families facing drowning because we were unable to respond to the huge number of calls. The consequences of the first depression revealed the magnitude of the humanitarian disasters faced by civilians in the Gaza Strip and is considered a dangerous warning that we are facing other disasters unless everyone acts, especially in meteorological warnings that this year's winter season will be loaded with rains and storms. We renew our humanitarian appeal to all countries of the world because there is no room to ignore the difficult humanitarian situation that the citizens of the Gaza Strip are suffering from and that real pressure must be exerted on Israel to allow the entry of rescue equipment and mechanisms for winter accidents. We call again for effective and urgent action to bring in tents, plastic sheets and mobile homes "caravans" to provide aid and shelter to the displaced. We require permission to support civil defense work with the fuel needed to enable our teams to respond to humanitarian interventions, the rate of which is doubled in the winter season. We call on the countries that promise the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the National Committee for the Management of the Gaza Strip to live up to their responsibilities and intervene urgently in order to save the citizens who will face the winter without any elements to protect them from the weather.
