Hamas spokesman Hazem Kassem: The leadership of the Palestinian Authority continues to disrupt the elections, confiscate the will of our people and hijack its institutions. Disruption of elections for more than 20 years led to the erosion of the legitimacy of the institutions, the lack of supervision, the spread of nepotism and their transformation into party institutions. Elections are a right for our people, and the authorities must stop manipulating them for fear of losing them. The will of the people must be supreme and their interests must be the basis for the work of the political forces.
