The leader of the Hamas movement, Abdul Rahman Shadid: What the prisoner, commander Hassan Salma, was seriously injured by nine bullets on the day when the extremist minister Itamar Ben Gabir attacked his camel, is a criminal act and cowardly terrorism that reveals the severity of what the prisoner Salma was exposed to and Israel's intention to eliminate him by various means. We warn against the continued moral and physical harm of the prisoner Salama, and we confirm that Israel's oppression and crime will not harm his determination, pride and will, which will not be broken despite the assaults, abuse and torture. We consider the occupation to be fully responsible for the life of the prisoner Hassan Selma and all our brave prisoners, and call on the international, legal, humanitarian and medical bodies to intervene urgently in order to ensure the necessary treatment for him and all the prisoners and to hold Israel accountable for flagrant violations of international conventions and laws. We call upon the masses of our Palestinian people and the institutions dealing with prisoners' rights to activate and strengthen the means of support for prisoners inside the prisons and to make every effort to support them, since the issue of prisoners is trust in the hands of our people and our resistance until the breaking of their shackles and their freedom.
