Hamas: Forced displacement and demolition of houses in Hebron is systematic aggression targeting the Palestinian presence and requires urgent international action. The ongoing aggression against Hebron and the cities and towns of the West Bank, and the accompanying massive invasions, forced displacement, demolition and damage to homes and property, represent a dangerous escalation in the policy of collective punishment and a desperate attempt to break the will of our people on its land and its land. The strict siege on Hebron, closing its entrances and exits, daily attacks on homes and the forced displacement of hundreds of families are a blatant violation of international and humanitarian laws and norms. The demolition, bulldozing and sabotage operations carried out by Israeli forces against civilian homes, targeting residential neighborhoods and harassing children, women and the elderly, will not give the occupation security or legitimacy, but will increase the determination of our people to stick to their national rights and protect their land and sanctities. We call on the international community, the UN and human rights and humanitarian institutions to assume their legal and moral responsibilities, and to take urgent action to stop the aggression and end the policy of forced displacement and collective punishment in Hebron and other areas in the West Bank. We salute the steadfastness of our people in Hebron and all the cities, villages and camps in the West Bank, and we confirm that repressive measures will not succeed in uprooting them from their land or breaking their will, and our people will remain committed to their legitimate rights until they achieve freedom and achieve Israel.
