Jordanian security units and special commando teams captured three terrorists linked to an attack on a church in Kfar Hamud, Karak Governorate, after a pre-dawn operation on Monday that ended an intense, non-stop manhunt. Search and surveillance operations enabled the intelligence teams to locate the suspects' hiding place inside an abandoned house in the Karak district. When ordered to surrender, the entrenched suspects opened fire on the perimeter. The security forces returned fire under standard rules of engagement, wounding and disarming the three men before taking them into custody. No injuries were reported among the security personnel, and a search of the place turned up a quantity of weapons and live ammunition. The terrorist attack on Friday targeted a church in Kfar Hamoud in Karak Governorate, killing nine and injuring 34 people.
