The Palestinian Authority called for international pressure on Israel after a Palestinian official said about 1,200 Palestinians in Hebron in the West Bank had been forced from their homes following an attack on Friday that killed two Israeli soldiers. The mayor of Hebron said that 1,300 more may also be forced to leave.
