Live: Hundreds of demonstrations are expected in France amid high tension and a heavy police presence.

A coalition of the "yellow vest" movement, labor unions and students will march across France on Saturday with demands centered on study conditions and purchasing power. About 70,000 police officers will be deployed with the authorities fearing an attack and looting similar to the unrest that broke out last Saturday on the sidelines of the demonstrations in which at least 550,000 participants were seen.
