Macron secures diesel deals on Gulf visit as gas prices fuel unrest in France

French President Emmanuel Macron secured commitments to deliver an additional 200,000 tonnes of diesel a month from the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain during a tour of the Gulf, his office said on Tuesday as the French government scrambles to address a cost-of-living crisis that has fueled unrest in the country.
