Zelensky turns to Europe for backing as ties with Trump deteriorate

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday appealed to his European allies and asked Brussels for an additional 70 billion euros to finance the war against Russia next year. Zelensky's relationship with US President Donald Trump deteriorated after the US eased sanctions on Moscow as part of a diesel supply deal.
