The French presidential candidate, Glucksman, says "a battle begins" for a fragmented left union

French presidential candidate Raphael Glucksman said Monday that "the battle is on" to revive the country's divided left in the run-up to the 2027 election. The EU lawmaker was elected on Sunday as the centre-left candidate with more than 66% of the vote.
