Navanethem 'Navi' Pillay of South Africa wins the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize

Former UN human rights chief and International Court of Justice judge Navnatam "Navi" Pillai has been awarded the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize for her contributions to international law, the Nobel jury announced Friday in Oslo, Norway.
