Trump reportedly rejects Iran's 7-day plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump rejected an Iranian plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The proposal was presented by Iran's Foreign Minister, Abbas Argachi, to Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, on the sidelines of the United Nations gathering in New York. The plan stipulated that the important waterway would be reopened seven days after an agreement was reached.
