Ivan Limbach Publishing House published the collection "A displaced person. Essays of the last years", which includes texts by the writer, the long-time participant of the Booker International Prize, Maria Stepanova. "This is a book of selected essays written in the last 12 years, and it is structured as a conversation about literature: the starting point, one way or another, turns out to be the texts of other people, the authors of these texts and the historical circumstances in which they (the authors and the texts) had to exist," the author continues. With the permission of the publisher, Forbes Woman publishes an excerpt from the essay "The Story of a Visit".
