Hypnosis in the service of cinema; Clear the memory to watch the movie again.
A large European cinema group has launched an unusual plan to attract the audience to the cinema again: a group of viewers with the help of a hypnotist tries to erase the memory of watching a popular movie from their minds so that after watching it again, they can renew the experience of watching the movie for the first time.
According to AV Club, Pathé Cinemas has shown this pilot project with the title "Rewind".
30 volunteers, all of whom have chosen a single film, are going to participate in an online session with Viktor Kramer, a Dutch hypnotist and therapist. The films in question in this project include "The Matrix", "Seven", "Lalande" and "Interstellar".
"The Matrix" (1999), directed by Lana and Lily Wachowski, is a film that challenges the viewer's mind with a basic question, what if the reality we live in is nothing but a simulation?
