Art is an excuse, stick to vulgarity “Earth on my head for giving up 60 years of my life for this! " This is a bitter and significant sentence of Akbar Zanjanpur, a veteran theater actor, in response to the current state of this art. The reason for this anger should be sought in what is happening on the stage of the theater these days; A scene where in some of the performances, instead of relying on art and creativity, they resorted to showing women's clothes on men's bodies, sexual jokes, touching outside the frame, behaviors contrary to Islamic matters, not wearing hijab and dancing and unusual movements. Houshang Tavakli, another veteran theater actor, criticizes the same situation and says: "Many theaters I see, I feel ashamed and leave; art without ethics means vulgarity; we cut the roots of morality." These two comments, despite the difference in expression, point to a common point: removing part of the theater from art and turning to instinctive elements to attract the audience. The problem is that on the stage that should be the place of art excellence, vulgarity takes the place of creativity. _ Link
