In the words of Mofid: the media is influenced by western currents on a global level.
Bahroz Mofid, the producer, referring to the obstacles facing Iranian cinema and television to be present in the international arena, referred to political and economic restrictions as factors in this field and emphasized that the media at the world level is largely influenced by strong Western currents.
The series "Or the Night" which was broadcast last year at the same time as the 40-day war that was imposed, recently attracted the attention of several media outlets in Israel and compared it to the Israeli series "Tehran".
In this context, Bahroz Mofid, the producer of the television works, said in an interview with the Fars reporter about the reasons for the limited scope of the global influence of the Iranian productions: We are faced with certain conditions and cultural characteristics that affect the media productions in the country. For example, the issue of the hijab and its reflection in theater works is one of the issues that may make it difficult for foreign audiences to connect with Iranian productions.
