The words of Sohrab Bakhtiarizadeh, the head coach of Astagalal, in a press conference after the match against Shabab Al-Ahly: My players did their best today.
- We could be in good shape like in the previous games and get points, although it was a difficult task and we knew it. In these two months we went through heavy games. I apologize to the fans and we will do our best to compensate. Our form of play in the second half was not in a form that we were probably going to lose. The difference between us and Shabab Al-Ahli was in the two scoring scenes where they acted more professionally and scored. We also had chances, but we weren't careful.
