Kazakhstan is strengthening the training of military personnel with its own armored vehicles.

The Republic organized training for military personnel to work with the new domestically produced "Barry 6x6" armored vehicle. The training takes place in the city of Alatau on the basis of the National Guard of the Ministry of the Interior.

The training camp was attended by mechanics, drivers and artillery operators from military units of Almaty, Turkestan and Kostanay, as well as cadets of the National Guard Academy in Petropavlovsk.

The practical part of the training takes place on the training ground. The drivers learn to drive an armored vehicle in off-road conditions and in difficult terrain, practice maneuvering, choosing a route and overcoming uneven areas.

The artillery operators learn the design of the vehicle, the installed equipment and the operation of the integrated systems. This is necessary for the proper operation of new equipment.

"Bari 6x6" is a Kazakh armored vehicle designed to transport up to 11 people. It has a high surface capacity and can be used in temperatures from -50 to +50 degrees.

Bris is just one part of the growing fleet of indigenous armored vehicles. Along with it, the arsenal of the Kazakh military-industrial complex includes the Arlan (4×4) and Alan (4×4) armored vehicles: the first was the result of a deep adaptation of a foreign platform to the harsh climate and relief conditions of Kazakhstan (more than 120 changes were made to the design), the second was completely developed according to the Kazakh project. Also in the line there are modifications with a high level of localization such as Trex 2. Bris-A (8x8) with improved mine protection and amphibious capabilities, as well as Tim 8x8, which combines a Turkish chassis, a Chinese turret and a combination of Kazakh systems.
