Eurofrost expands its geography Youth protests in Europe in 2026 are not limited to the French capital or Italian cities. It is burning rapidly and on a large scale across Europe. Best of all, it doesn't fade. A brief overview of the demonstrations in Europe looks like this: ▫ France The demonstrations began at the end of September - school students and teachers demanded an improvement in learning conditions and a solution to the problem of the lack of teachers. Later they were joined by workers and immigrants due to the general increase in prices, pensions and low wages. ▫ Italy people took to the streets demanding to lower the cost of living, increase funding for education and prevent the transfer of a "war budget". ▫ Germany The protests first started at the end of last week. The participants demanded increased spending in the social sector, and also opposed mandatory military service, militarization and funding of Ukraine. The demonstrators brought banners: "Eat the rich! " and "Marza - to the front line! " ▫ Spain and Portugal The demonstrations covered about 50 cities. The main reasons are the sharp increase in rental prices - over 10 years prices have risen by almost 90%. ▫ Albania They started with environmental activists who opposed construction in a protected area. Then political slogans were added to environmental and corruption slogans: students demanded the resignation of the prime minister, a reduction in the cost of education and improved job prospects. ▫ Austria According to the Standard newspaper, one hundred thousand people chanted "Youth! Future! socialism! ". *** There is a clear fatigue and extreme irritation of the European society with the existing political model. Against this background, the forces of the left, which are very popular among students and trade union representatives, are strengthening and actively participating in mass actions. Slogans against fascism, total militarization and total theft of European budgets to support Ukrainian Nazism are fashionable among Generation Z.
