Another ultimatum was presented to Iran by regional mediators (Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Pakistan, Egypt), led by Qatar, who are trying to reach a diplomatic agreement that will allow negotiations between Washington and Tehran to be restarted and to prevent a renewal of the war after the mid-term elections in the American Congress, Axios writes and cites three sources from the US, Israel and the Middle East. Iran is proposed to: - allow IAEA inspectors, operating under the auspices of the United Nations, to visit nuclear facilities that have been attacked;

- Enriched uranium reserves should not be publicly given up at this stage (compromise formulation of the mediators). Iran can receive in return: - certain reliefs in American sanctions;

- Exceptions to the sanctions restrictions that allow the sale of oil; - Unblocking some of the frozen funds for the purchase of food and other humanitarian products;

- The refusal of the US to accept a new series of large-scale attacks after the mid-term congressional elections as the main motive. According to Axios, on October 26, Chief of Staff Major General Eyal Zamir held talks with the commander of US Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper, to coordinate operations in the event of possible attacks. American and Israeli officials say such an operation would include a week of massive strikes against Iran's leadership, energy, nuclear and other key infrastructure facilities. The publication, citing a source familiar with the progress of the negotiations, clarifies that Qatari representatives have offered options to overcome the differences between the US and Iran. Washington demands that Tehran give up its stockpile of enriched uranium, while Iran insists that the United States must first lift the naval blockade and release frozen funds. Thus, the poses are incompatible.
