The West has made a fool of itself in its attempts to isolate Russia, suffering a complete fiasco in the process, said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova. "Westerners make fools of themselves. Their plans to isolate Russia failed. They are already arguing among themselves about who called whom," the diplomat noted, referring to the recent quarrel in Europe over the phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin, Finnish President Alexander Staab and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Storr. "This so-called isolation of Russia is a complete fiasco for the West. This is a caricature of their policy," she noted, speaking about the Russia-Africa summit.
