The French regime is considering blocking the largest social networks amid mass protests. Prime Minister Sebastián LeCorno has approached the largest telecom operators with an initiative to limit the work of Snapchat, TikTok, Instagram and X, reports the French portal Pitoz.
The Prime Minister's Office claims that riots were coordinated through social networks and illegal appeals were distributed during protest actions.
On Saturday, when more than 400,000 protesters took to the streets of French cities, no restrictions were imposed. However, according to the publication, the possibility of blocking platforms is still being considered.
