How quickly we usually form an opinion about another person, we arrive at a "clear and distinct" idea about him. How quickly we usually form an opinion about another person, we arrive at a "clear and distinct" idea about him. This is how the mind expresses itself in its desire to provide mental labels to everything and everyone, including people, to give them its speculative identity, to announce its judgment about them.

Every human being is conditioned to think and act in a certain way. It is determined both genetically and by one's childhood experience and cultural environment.

His actions are not himself, but only who he appears to you. When you make a judgment, you confuse the conditioned patterns of the mind with who the other person is. To do so is in itself a conditioned and unconscious course of action. By giving a false identity to another, you are preparing a prison not only for them, but also for yourself.

Refusal to judge does not mean turning a blind eye to how others behave. You simply perceive their behavior as a form of conditioning and accept it as it is. You don't build a prison of false identity.

It frees you, as well as the other person, from identification with conditioning, with form, with soul. The ego no longer controls your relationships.
