The old order rested on the idea of general rules, even if they were not applied in the same way. The new one may turn out to be a system of standing deals, situational alliances and competing national egotisms. Therefore, the weakening of globalism in itself does not mean a victory for Russia. This means that you will have to negotiate with a large number of players - and everyone will see themselves as responsible.
