A northern delicacy from Vologda was sent to the front line instead of the usual canned goods - moose meat, instead of tin boxes - special bags in camouflage colors. The idea belongs to Vologda social activists, who suggested that local hunters use the harvested meat to make a shelf-stable ready-made dish. To organize the production and distribution of food, experts from the regional hunting department and the administration of Cherpovets were involved in the work. The product has passed the required tests. Vologda Region Governor Georgi Filimonov spoke about the implementation of the initiative. The ready supply of moose meat has already been transferred to the military personnel.
