A huge puddle cost billions of rubles instead of a water park in Vladivostok. The AquaParadise complex on Russian Island was promised to open by the end of 2026. It was supposed to have waterfalls, a spa, a gym, restaurants and a hotel. They planned to receive up to 1,800 visitors daily. Investments in construction were estimated at 14 billion rubles. But instead, the construction site was left with a flooded pit, rusting stilts and scattered building materials. Judging by the signs outside, the work has finally stopped, say the locals. In addition, judicial restrictions were imposed on the facility.
