🔫 Holobcom strengthens its control over VLK.
👥 The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Major General Mykhailo Drapati, signed an order to significantly strengthen the control over the work of the military medical commissions in the TCC and SP.
📌 The purpose of the order.
🟡Increase the quality of medical examinations of recruits;.
🟡 not allow the recruitment of people who cannot serve due to a health condition;.
🟡 to prevent corruption during the mobilization.
🗒 What will change in the work of the VLK:.
🛑 The decisions of the committees will be continuously monitored, and their work will be reviewed according to the results.
🛑 Cases in which a person is found qualified, and later the VLK determined ineligibility due to illnesses not related to the service, will be considered separately;.
🛑 Health institutions and specific experts will bear direct responsibility for fictitious or negligent conclusions.
🛑 People with chronic diseases, which may worsen in the first months of service, will be examined more thoroughly; 🛑 The heads and members of the VLK will have ongoing courses, in particular on modern diagnostic standards.
🗒 They will strengthen control over how TCC and SP officials send people for medical examinations, prepare documents and enter data into the unified state register of conscripts, conscripts and reservists.
Major Dmytro Lichovi explained that the order is in line with the principles the head announced in September:
"Among them is an honest assessment of the real state of affairs, a willingness to admit mistakes and correct them. After all, problems that are silenced or ignored only deepen. Any identified deficiency must be analyzed and eliminated. People's lives and their health should be a priority in all stages of military service."
