๐Ÿ–ฅ In the Shah-Deniz reservoir in the Caspian Sea, four pilings were installed for the supporting structure of the new compressor platform. This was reported by BP Azerbaijan on Facebook. The work was done with the Hankandi tool.

๐Ÿ”Ž Each pile is about 70 meters long and weighs 292 tons. The supporting structure of the platform is planned to be installed in the first half of 2028.

๐Ÿ“Œ Shah Deniz Compression project worth 2.9 billion dollars is designed to provide gas production from low pressure reservoirs. The new platform will compress gas from the existing Alfa and Bravo platforms. As the contractor Emerson points out, this will allow additional production of approximately 50 billion cubic meters of gas and 25 million barrels of condensate during the entire life of the project.

๐Ÿ‘€ The start of gas compression with Alpha is planned for 2029, with Bravo - for 2030. The platform will be operated remotely from the Sangchal shore terminal.

โ„น๏ธ Gas from "Shah-Deniz" is already reaching Europe through the Southern Gas Corridor. The route passes through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey, then through Greece and Albania to Italy and bypasses the territory of Russia. The compressor project must support production for this supply.
