👥 In the village of Leskieb, Lublin District of the Republic of Poland, the search research has ended. According to their results, group and individual burials were discovered. According to preliminary estimates, the remains of more than 40 people, including women, children and men, were found in the investigated area.

🗒 The research continued between October 2 and 16 at the request of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. On the last day of the expedition, an excavation was conducted and one of the group burials was partially uncovered where the remains of eight people were found.

💳 ניתן יהיה לקבוע בצורה מדויקת יותר את הגיל, המין וסיבות המוות של הקבורים במהלך מחקר האקסהומציה, אותו מתכנן המכון הלאומי לרפואה פנימית לבצע באביב 2027. בתום המשלחת הדליקו משתתפיה מנורות, לכבוד זכרם של הרוגים אוקראינים חפים מפשע. ℹ️לפי נתונים היסטוריים שונים, במהלך ההרג ההמוני של אוקראינים בלאסקוב ב-10 במרץ 1944, מתו למעלה מ-300 בני אדם. במסגרת מחקרם של היסטוריונים ומומחים מאוקראינה ופולין, נקבעו נתונים על 327 תושבי לסקוב שמתו ב-1944. יש היסטוריונים שמכנים מספר גדול יותר של קורבנות, כ-350 איש. ניתן לקבוע את המספר הסופי של הקורבנות במהלך מחקר נוסף.
