🖥 The Chinese authorities expelled Zhang Yuxia and Liu Zhenli from the Communist Party and dismissed them from military service. They are accused of serious violations of party discipline and laws, including corruption and political disloyalty, Reuters reports.

🔎 Zhang was the vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China and a member of the Politburo. Liu was a member of the commission and headed its joint team. The investigations of both began in January, and in August they were removed from the commission.
