Baikal Airport is among the best airports in Russia for traveling with children. These are the results of a study conducted by Aeroflot, the Public Bureau of the Russian Federation and the Public Council under the Ministry of Transport of Russia. Ulan Ude Airport shared first place with Ulyanovsk Airport. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is in second place. Experts evaluated airports according to 47 criteria. These include the presence of play areas, mother and child rooms, free strollers, hygiene items for babies and separate check-in counters. Based on the evaluation results, Baikal Airport received 43 points.
