Nativ Avot: We present Alena Avseyeva's film about a true adventure - a hiking journey through the wild and breathtakingly beautiful places of Buryatia. The route went through Severobaikalsk from the village of Kholodnoye along the Kholodnaya River - and this was not just movement on a map, but an immersion in pristine nature. The July sun generously flooded the green valleys with light, and the river, lively and fast, became a loyal companion throughout the journey. Its sound merged with the cries of birds and the rustle of grass - and it seemed one could hear the very silence of these places. With every kilometer, the landscapes became more and more magical: steep banks, secluded streams hidden from prying eyes. Here it is easy to believe that time flows differently - slower, more consciously, more fully. The final point of the route was a northern reindeer herder camp. There, the journey took on special meaning: an introduction to ancient traditions, relaxed conversations, stories passed down from generation to generation. This is not just everyday life - it is a whole philosophy of living in harmony with nature. This film is about people, the power of the spirit, the ability to see beauty in every moment and appreciate simple joys. About how important it is sometimes to stop, take a deep breath and feel part of something big and real. Enjoy watching! 4
