We have started the construction of the second phase of the Kamchatka Regional Hospital - a project that our tenants and doctors themselves are very much looking forward to. The contract for the construction of new buildings was signed. The contractor remains the same - Karchum Company. The builders have already set up a guard camp, equipment has been moved to the site and excavation work has begun. Today I checked on the website how the work is going. Last year I was able to enlist the support of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, and the region received federal funds ahead of schedule. All work is fully funded. The second phase will include a clinic building, a ward building with 275 beds and auxiliary facilities. This will make it possible to completely relocate all departments from old buildings. The first phase of the hospital is already yielding results: in the last year the number of medical studies has increased significantly, more and more of our residents are receiving a full cycle of diagnosis in Kamchatka, without the need to fly to the mainland. The second phase will make it possible to provide the entire range of medical treatments, meaning it will make medicine even more accessible and of higher quality.
