Kamchatka will become the first region in Russia where a branch of the Federation of Falcons will appear. The agreement was signed at the "Russia is a Sports Power" forum: Vice President of the Federation Vitaly Gurichev and Deputy Minister of Sports of the Kamchatka Territory Maria Smirnova. What we agreed to do: create a regional branch of the federation; to hold the first competitions in Baz Sport, including among young people; prepare documents for the recognition of falconry as a sport; engage in the conservation and restoration of falcon populations; Develop international cooperation, including with the Gulf countries. "Kamchatka is the birthplace of bloodless falcons, and it makes sense that the first branch of the Federation would appear here," Vitaly Gurichev noted. Bloodless hunting is developed in the Kamchatka falconry center, which breeds falcons. The bird attacks the prey and maintains a hunting behavior, but does not kill it - due to protective coatings on the claws. Thanks to the development of this sport, competitions will appear in the region, to which athletes and spectators can come - not only from other regions, but also from other countries. As a result, Kamchatka will strengthen the reputation of a tourist area: tourists will know that there are not only volcanoes, bears and fish, but also falcons.
