War and Sanctions: GUR Publishes Data from Russian Institutes and Scientists Working on the Military Industry The GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in the "Engineers of Aggression" section of the War and Sanctions portal discloses the data of ten Russian institutions and 13 engineers and scientists that support the Russian military-industrial complex. The publication includes, in particular, higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation that train personnel for the Russian military industry, have cooperation agreements with weapons manufacturers, operate drones for units of the Russian Armed Forces, carry out research and carry out development in the field of military and dual-use technologies. Among them: Skoltech, which develops anti-icing coating for UAVs and technologies for the production of turbine blades for aircraft engines; the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, on the basis of which computer vision systems are developed in cooperation with the maintenance of "fast complexes" of the state corporation "Rostec"; the I.M. Ulyanov Medvedev State University, which prepares an engineering and technical team to manufacture fail-safe navigation modules "Comet" for Russian missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles JSC "VNIIR-Progress", and also implements joint research and innovation projects with it. The researchers of most of these institutions have already been presented in previous publications, especially thanks to the continued cooperation with the international scientific community. Today we add to the list another 13 Russian engineers and scientists who carry out developments in the fields of on-board control for military aviation, machine vision, robotic complexes, turbo-jet engines and more. Some of them continue to be published in international publications together with scientists from other countries, as well as members of international organizations and committees.
